Tuesday, July 5

Wednesday, July 6

Classes begin. All classes and ensemble rehearsals will be held at Keawala‘i Congregational Church, 5300 Mākena Rd. Mākena, HI (map). Parking is available along the road and in the lot across the street. Please show the utmost respect at all times for the church and its grounds, including the adjoining cemetery. Shoes should not be worn inside the church building. Prior to your lessons, you may warm up on the church grounds.

Workshop by Simon Powis:
2:30 PM – Scale Systems: An overview of how scale patterns connect on the fingerboard, how they can benefit sight reading, how they can be used in practice, and how they can help fingerboard knowledge in general. This workshop will be very interactive so bring your guitar!
